Ken Kalbach
My love for photography has provided me with opportunities to document extraordinary moments in people’s lives. While in high school, I took photos of my sister and her teammates as they won four National Championships for the University of Delaware’s Collegiate Figure Skating Team. In college, I expanded my knowledge of photography through classwork and experiences. During two of my college years I was a Senior Photographer for the student newspaper, The Daily Collegian, at Penn State University covering numerous sporting events, current/news events, and THON.
I had the opportunity to work as an Intern Photographer on the Penn State Football Team’s Social Media Team for the last two years of my college career. My responsibilities included capturing photos on-field for all home games during the 2019 season, on-field for the 2019 Cotton Bowl, 2021 Pro Day activities, as well as daily practices and weight room lifting sessions. In addition, I have worked with Penn State’s Collegiate Figure Skating Team, by taking pictures of multiple competitions, showcases, and yearly headshots. Outside of the sports world, I enjoy capturing group and individual graduation photos throughout the campus.
